Apple Cider Vinegar, or ACV, is rich in acetic acid, potassium & other nutrients which may aid with digestion, weight loss, insulin management lowering cholesterol, improving energy levels, and even easing a sore throat! Add in the benefits of honey, the high concentration of essential minerals in our sea salt, plus the comforting flavors of ginger and cinnamon, and you have a healthy cup in your hands!
2 tsp organic raw apple cider vinegar (ACV)
1 tsp organic honey, locally harvested if possible
½ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp SalterieOne Classic Sea Salt
1 ginger tea bag
8 oz hot water
Cinnamon stick for stirring
Brew tea in your cup for 5-7 minutes. Remove tea bag. Add ACV, honey, SalterieOne Classic Sea Salt and ground cinnamon and stir with cinnamon stick. Sip and enjoy!
- Some SalterieOne folks also like to add a squeeze of lemon to their cup for a little more brightness.
- When choosing your ACV, remember that the murky appearance is due to its unfiltered nature, and that’s where the beneficial bacteria and enzymes live.
- Have a sore throat? Gargle 1-2 tsp of ACV with 2 tsp SalterieOne Classic Sea Salt and ¼ cup warm water for 20 to 30 seconds two to three times a day. Don’t swallow.
